Prof. George Ganchev passed away 19th August 2019. There is so much I could record of my memories of George as his accomplishments were many and varied. I have finally managed to make the site index work!  Sorry it has taken so long, but hopefully members with find it a useful way of tracking down information.

The Academy is deeply saddened at the loss of a dear friend and coach. Prof. Geoff Hawksworth died at his home  last week and will be sorely missed by all the friends, colleagues and fencers who were privileged to know him. More details will be posted in due course.
