The British Academy of Fencing will be running a 3 weapon coaching course at Edgbaston High School for Girls, Edgbaston, Birmingham. This course follows on from the recent training days which were well attended, and will be held on a monthly basis, staffed by experienced coach educators. The course is open to all fencing coaches...
On Sunday the 12th March, there will be examinations. There will be no pre-training on Saturday 11th March. Applications and further details from Prof Andy Vincent.
The Academy has arranged 3 Training Days on the following days. Sundays, 28th May, 2nd July and 23rd July. All sessions cost £15 each. To show your commitment, we are asking all coaches to pre-book and pay for all 3 sessions in advance.
This is a friendly, coach centered look at all things fencing coaching. From routine lessons to special lessons, we look at distance, timing, technique and tactics. Coaching fencing should be fun! Tea/coffee/biscuits provided, bring exra food if needed.
