ABOUT THE SESSIONS
Phil Carson will be facilitating a series of workshops on how to make your coaching more functional to better prepare fencers for the performance arena. Aimed at assistant and club coaches, the aim is to look at coaching best practice and to provide Continuous Professional Development for aspiring and established coaches.
Tony Middleton will use the B.A.F coaching syllabus to help coaches work towards qualifications across all three weapons. He may also be assisted by other Masters of the Academy. However, his sessions will not be entirely focussed on delivering the curriculum. They will also include other approaches to coaching practice as well.
