The  British Academy of Fencing is sad to announce the tragic death of Professor Jim  PerryOn Friday morning, 13th July, Jim was involved in a road  collision and tragically died at the scene.  As yet details and the nature of  the accident are unclear, so to are details of the funeral  service. Our thought and prayers…

The Academy is deeply saddened to hear of the death Trevor Cox following illness. A lifelong fencer and coach, Trevor was  a valued member and supporter of the BAF. A Mass and funeral will take place in Croydon on Tuesday 14th May. His widow, Frances, requests no flowers but donations to Macmillan Cancer.
