2014 AGM

The Academy is deeply saddened to hear of the death Trevor Cox following illness. A lifelong fencer and coach, Trevor was  a valued member and supporter of the BAF. A Mass and funeral will take place in Croydon on Tuesday 14th May. His widow, Frances, requests no flowers but donations to Macmillan Cancer.

The Academy is saddened to learn that Peter Green (of Hull) died on the 21.03.16.  Peter was a long standing member of the Academy and a regular supporter of our Annual General Meetings.   Peter was well like by his colleagues and pupils and he will be missed by all.  The Academy offers its deepest sympathy…

The Academy extends its congratulations to Professor Sue Benney on the outstanding achievement of her pupil Philip Marsh in winning the Junior World Title in Men’s Epee (Jordan 2011).
