SUMMARY:BAF Coach Training
DESCRIPTION:The British Academy of Fencing will be running a 3 weapon coaching course at Edgbaston High School for Girls\, Edgbaston\, Birmingham. This course follows on from the recent training days which were well attended\, and will be held on a monthly basis\, staffed by experienced coach educators. The course is open to all fencing coaches irrespective of whether they are members of the BAF. Attendance to previous sessions is advisable but not a requirement. \nThe upcoming course will provide training for all levels and abilities of coaches\, including those who may be considering undertaking a coaching role in their club. The course is designed for fencing coaches who wish to improve or enhance their practical skills\, increase their technical/tactical knowledge or to simply meet other coaches and share ideas and experiences. \nOptional examinations will be held on the culmination of the course (additional cost). \nIf you are interested in attending\, please contact the Academy’s Course Officer\, Prof. Jackie Redikin at courseofficer@baf-fencing.com for further details \nDates:\nSunday 12 February 2023 \nSaturday 11th\, Sunday 12th March (Examination Day)\nCost: £15 per session.
